The world I live in: Exploring London // Day 2

Hello guys!

Would you like to explore London with me? This was my second day in London and I really enjoyed it, how else. After we had our breakfast, we went by train to the Tower. We saw the beautiful Tower of London and there we had some free time to explore the area. We didn't go inside, because there was a 20 pounds entrance fee. So we went down towards Tower Bridge, and it was really awesome to see it live. When you see it in the pictures, it's not so breathtaking. We took some pictures obviously and then we crossed the bridge. There was also a possibility to go up to the tower but we just skipped it. On the bridge is a beautiful view over the Walkie-Talkie, Shard or Gherkin. Then we went back and had some Starbucks with a beautiful view of Tower Bridge.

Then we continued to the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) where trains are driverless. It's really cool, also the view from the train is amazing. We sat down in front of the train so we could see the entire ride. Then we went to see the Isle of Dogs where were awesome skyscrapers and buildings. We had a free time for lunch, I only had sandwich because I think there are very expensive restaurants.

Then we went to visit Greenwich. It's an amazing district. I loved the old buildings and houses. We went to see the University of Greenwich which is the amazing building. We also saw the Cutty Sark and then we continued to Greenwich park and up to the Greenwich Observatory. There is a stunning view of the Royal Museum. There is also the Prime Meridian but unfortunately gate was closed so we didn't see it.

That was the end of our group tour, so we went back to Hammersmith and then to Westfield (it is a large shopping mall for those who don't know it). It's really big, I think it's three times bigger then the biggest shopping mall here in Brno. We visited a few stores, had some ice cream and then we went back to our hotel. Our second day in London was really amazing, lots of walking but the sights and places were awesome.
