Hello guys!
I would like to show you in this post my little skincare routine. I'm going to show you how do I care for my skin in the morning and evening. Skincare is very important, but you definitely know that. I have to confess that when I was younger, I neglected it. I didn't even use any moisturizer, so my skin was so dry that I had a small flakes on my face. I started doing my routine about three years ago, and I'm glad I did, because when you get older, your face is more sensitive, drier and wrinkles are formed more rapidly. These products I'm going to show you are made for dry skin, but it doesn't mean that I would do my routine differently if I had oily skin, I would only change products.
Liquid facial soap
I begin my day with this liquid facial soap from Clinique. This soap is perfect for refreshing and cleansing your skin. I use it in the morning and evening as well, after I take my makeup off. It also helps you to remove the remnants of makeup. It doesn't dry out your skin, so don't be afraid of the word soap.
Clarifying lotion
The next step is this clarifying lotion from Clinique. I use it in the morning and evening. I use it after applying facial soap. It prepares your skin for your moisturizer and it also removes impurities from the skin. I got number 1 which is for very dry to dry skin, but you can choose this product exactly for your skin type.
Moisturizing cream
Yes, you guess right. Another item is moisturizing cream also from Clinique. I really love this brand in terms of skincare products. It is a bit expensive but it is worth it. Moisturizing your face is the most important thing. I use it after applying lotion, in the morning and evening. This is also for very dry to dry skin, and I love how it keeps your skin smooth all day and night.
Lip balm
My lips are usually very dry, so I have to moisturize them very often. I always have some lip balm in my bag. I have a lot of favorite lip balms, one of them is this EOS balm. It's very easy to apply and it looks pretty cool. Another favorite balm is Carmex or Labello.
Hand cream
You have to moisturize your hands as well, I hate when my hands are dry. I always have some cream in my bag, just in case. I love this one from Garnier, it's very cheap and it keeps your hands moisturized all day. Lately, I'm also obsessed with hand cream from Sportique, you can see it here.
Makeup primer
When I go outside or to the work, I use makeup primer. It helps your foundation last longer and it also protects your skin. This primer from Rimmel has SPF 25 which is always good, especially in summer. You can also use it without your foundation, just to keep your face protected when you want to go outside with no makeup on. If you want to wear makeup, let the primer act for a few minutes and then apply your foundation.
Eye makeup remover
When I'm ready to go sleep or I just don't want to wear makeup anymore, I use this eye makeup remover from Sephora. This is my favorite remover of all, it doesn't irritate your eyes, so for those who have sensitive eyes, it's great. You can also buy a bigger package, it's only up to you.
Makeup remover
This biosource balm to oil deep cleanser and makeup remover from Biotherm I just love. It's so easy to remove your makeup with this. Just soak your skin and apply this product and with circular motions remove your makeup. You can also use it for your eye makeup, which is great. It also lasts very long time, I always have this for about 7-8 months. It's a bit expensive but I would definitely recommend it. My other favorite makeup remover is Take the day off from Clinique, it's very similar to this one, but it's a bit cheaper.
After I remove my makeup, I use my facial soap, lotion, moisturizer, lip balm and hand cream, and here we are back in the beginning.
